“Senator, I’m Singaporean” was once a line that many of us found amusing, even calling it a meme. But to us, it held something deeper. It spoke of how often Singapore and Singaporeans are misunderstood, a small nation on the world map, often unseen, unknown, and unheard.

Together, we created this scent as a tribute to Singapore and to all who call it home. We explored unconventional notes like concrete, metal, and wet soil, echoes of daily life in our city. The concrete beneath our HDB void decks, the metal that shapes our skyline, the earthy calm after rain in a neighbourhood park.

The fragrance opens with a lively burst of calamansi, our everyday citrus, a reflection of the vigor and dreams that define us, even in a society built on pragmatism. It is paired with rambutan and oceanic notes, mirroring our tropical identity. As it unfolds, gentle floral notes emerge, paying homage to our national flower. You won’t distinctly smell the concrete or soil; they exist as quiet undertones, grounding the brighter accords. What sounds improbable on paper finds harmony in form.

“Senator, I’m Singaporean” isn’t a scent that claims to define Singapore, for no one truly can. It’s an abstract expression, a painted canvas of what we feel Singapore and Singaporeans are.
