For The Nose, delivering the olfactory pyramids is not of great interest. Nor is he listing the ingredients used in his compositions. He holds the raw materials in great respect. For him, revealing them can limit the olfactory process and mislead. In the past, it was customary to consider perfume as a magic potion whose composition had to remain a well-kept secret. And it is this approach that The Nose wants to preserve. He wants everyone to be able to smell subjectively, without interpretation, without influence, to become one with the fragrance, thus offering a space of freedom.

Description

Inspired by crime scenes from the Franco-Italian film Fantomas, starring Jean Marais and Louis de Funès, this perfume is a true invitation to investigate, seek, explore. The cedar and calamus notes in the base blend with juicy raspberry notes in the heart: a creation full of twists and turns that surprises by its boldness. The hazelnut cap is the result of a metallization process that gives it four iridescent facets.

This bottle of perfume is part of the project Nasomatto. The fragrance is an elusive hint towards the transgressive act that has been carried out with an ease of a refined precision

About NASOMATTO

Founded in Amsterdam in 2008 by the Italian perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri, who is constantly on the lookout for unusual and innovative formulas, Nasomatto is an unordinary olfactory project, as the name suggests ("nasomatto" meaning " crazy nose" in Italian).

Refined and indecipherable scents, resulting from an original creative work. That’s how Alessandro Gualiteri describes his work: “I start making something, but at a certain point it starts making choices by itself. It is the process itself that interests and guides me. I like the feeling that I’m losing control and that I’m not the only one making the choice.”
